Moto Q Phone

News: T-Mobile gets the Motorola Q! T-Mobile will be the first network to release the much anticipated Motorola Q mobile phone in Q1 2006.

The Moto Q Phone when released will be the thinnest and lightest handset with a mobile keyboard. The Q in the title refers to the half-size QWERTY keyboard. The Moto Q (or Motorola Q) runs on windows mobile 5.0 and is intended to steal sales away from Blackberry and Treo.

Being one of the first devices to run on windows mobile 5.0 the Moto Q Phone will therefore support the push email system that Microsoft will release later this year (2005). Push email is what made the RIM Blackberry such a big success and Motorola and Microsoft are aiming to get on the bandwagon. The handset itself is scheduled for release Q1 2006.
